Lima, Peru – June 5, 2024

Pesquera Diamante announces the appointment of Gustavo Delgado-Aparicio as its new General Manager. This appointment is part of the company's strategy to further strengthen its market position and reaffirm its commitment to sustainability and innovation in the sector. Gustavo will assume the role of General Manager on June 10, 2024, succeeding Pablo Trapunsky, who will remain with the organization until June 30 to ensure a smooth and orderly transition for the business.

Gustavo Delgado-Aparicio has over 28 years of experience in the financial industry. His most recent role was as General Manager of Banco Pichincha. Previously, he served as Deputy General Manager at BBVA Peru for over 14 years and spent 10 years as Vice President at Citibank Peru. Additionally, in 2008, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Pesquera Diamante.

Delgado-Aparicio is an economist by profession with a specialization in finance. He holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a postgraduate degree in Digital Business from MIT Sloan School of Management. He also completed a Customer Centricity program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
