Pesquera Diamante delivered a camper made especially for marine research to be undertaken by the NGO Oannes.

Pesquera Diamante will sponsor an expedition that intends to investigate and sensitize the entire population about the resources of the Peruvian coast, coast and islands. To this end, the association associated with the fishing union gave the research team of the NGO Oannes a camper that was designed and supervised at the Ferroles de Pesquera Diamante Shipyard. This vehicle is specially enabled to mobilize and serve as a residence for researchers during the expedition

Ricardo Bernales, director of Pesquera Diamante, attended the delivery ceremony; and Pablo Trapunsky, general manager of Pesquera Diamante, who expressed their commitment to the investigation of the Peruvian sea. Also participating was the president of the NGO Oannes, Francisco Miranda, who pointed out that this project seeks to raise public awareness about the biodiversity of the Peruvian sea by companies committed to research and sustainability

The Oannes research team will travel from September and for 12 weeks, by land and sea, from Tacna to Tumbes, documenting, filming and photographing the rocky bottoms and other underwater areas, thus demonstrating their status and the species that They inhabit these.
