13 de Abril del 2020

APRO Supe donates canned tuna, mineral water and sanitary equipment for the personnel of the first containment line in the Supe Puerto district.

The pandemic that the world is going through today is a situation that affects everyone, without exception; some being more vulnerable than others. In the spirit of solidarity necessary in this type of circumstances, APRO Supe has joined to fight against Coronavirus. The fishing companies that make up APRO SUPE: Pesquera Diamante, Pacífico Centro, Pesquera Pelayo and TASA, contributed with a donation of 1,500 Frescomar canned tuna, more than 1,000 liters of mineral water, gel alcohol, 300 masks and gloves; a donation destined for Supe Puerto district, which faces different deficiencies.

These donations were delivered by a Pesquera Diamante staff to the mayor of Supe Puerto, Mr. Oscar Morán, so that they can be distributed to those who need it most. This donation will be for the benefit of workers who work in basic emergency activities: medical posts, police stations, cleaning services and the municipality, who are facing this problem by working directly, and who add up to an approximate of 150 people.

"The health insurance and adequate food for frontline personnel who fight the virus is the basis for continuing to fulfill the valuable mission of protecting the population of Supe Puerto." Oscar Morán pointed out.
