Fernando Ribaudo
Founding director of Pesquera Diamante
He studied Mechanics in Los Angeles and then returned to Peru, because he saw an opportunity to start a business; Thus, he formed Pesquera Lerici, in 1986, and began his career as a founding partner of his group of companies. When his brother Juan Enrique Ribaudo returned from Boston, they decided to form their own fishing company in 1990. After more than 30 years of experience, Pesquera Diamante has established itself as a leading export company in its field; This would not have been possible without the opportunities that were generated and without having the economic model that we have today.
Juan Enrique Ribaudo

He studied Economics at Northeastern University in Boston and, together with his brother Fernando Ribaudo, in 1990 and with a very small investment, they started a business venture in the fishing sector called Pesquera Diamante, which has become one of the largest Peruvian exporting companies of fishmeal and fish oil.
Elena Conterno
Director
Director of Pesquera Diamante since February 18, 2019, and a member of the Talent and Compensation Committee. She is a specialist in public management, a former Minister of Production, and has served as President of IPAE since April 2019. She is also a board member of various companies and nonprofit organizations. She studied Economics at Universidad del Pacífico and holds a master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University.
José Antonio Payet
Director
Director of Pesquera Diamante since November 19, 2018 and member of the Diamante Risk and Audit Committee. He is a lawyer and founding partner of Estudio Payet Rey Cauvi Pérez. He is a professor of the Company Law course at the Law School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He is director of the Lima Stock Exchange. He unacem, Inca Rail and Inversiones Brade, and member of the Board of Directors of Arie. He is also a member of the Higher Arbitration Council of the Arbitration Center of the Lima Chamber of Commerce.
Alfredo Pérez Gubbins
Director
Director of Pesquera Diamante since December 20, 2024, and member of the Audit and Risk Committee as well as the Talent and Compensation Committee. He holds a degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico and an MBA from The Wharton School. He has extensive experience in the food and financial sectors at a global level. Currently, he serves on the board of directors of companies across various industries and previously held positions as CEO of Alicorp, General Manager of Corporación Grupo Romero, and Director of Investment Banking at Citigroup.
Rafael Carranza
Director
Director of Pesquera Diamante since November 19, 2018 and president of the Diamante Risk and Audit Committee. He is an economist from the University of Lima and has postgraduate studies at ESAN and the University of Piura. He has extensive experience in banking, corporate finance and asset management. He is director and chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Lima Stock Exchange, managing partner of Macroconsult and Macro Asset Management since April 2014, and general manager of Macropapitales SAFI since January 2021.
Cayetana Aljovín
Director
Board Member of Pesquera Diamante since November 2023 and Chair of the Talent and Compensation Committee. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Latina (Compañía Latinoamericana de Radiodifusión S.A.) and is a board member of various national and international companies in the financial, mining, energy, and aviation sectors. She holds a Law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Chile. She has held positions as Minister of Development and Social Inclusion, Minister of Energy and Mines, and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, she has led important trade organizations, such as the National Fisheries Society, as well as non-governmental organizations like Perú Sostenible.
